    Go figure , 55 yrs old and I'm still able to ride a skateboard.....badly......

    I drool over the electrc evolve skateboards but until I can ride just bad and not ly then I'm sticking with my board ....standard board but here it comes ( the question) ...for riding the streets /pavements rough at times what are my options for wheels ?

    Cheers guys ...And despite the nickname I'm prolly worse

    Hi fartnz!! Welcome to the forum !! I am also 55 Y/O !! For wheels i have the 97 MM that came with the GTX , Bought a set of the 97MM green Abec 11 Flywheels from evolve and the F1 street wheels 107 MM .107's are great for sidewalks as they are softer. I am however still using my 32 t gears as I wanted to keep speed and I have no hills in Florida

    Hey cheers mate , currently I have 75 mm wheels and I've wondered if I need to go bigger . I'll track down some bigger wheels

    I see your pic is you on a Vespa GTS . I have a sprint 150 and the GTS 300 Super !!

    I really enjoy the Vespa and it gives me great access to central Mount Maunganui and Tauranga . I'm also ok riding it out of town ..great scooters imho.
