What is the speed for real?

  1. I have seen many people say that the get 23mph and some 20 mph.

One of the main reasons I am buying this board is because of speed and if it advertises 24-26 I wanna hit 26mph.

I know I can only get 24mph with street wheels on flat-ground and since I'm around 70kg I am hoping it will go a little faster.
I will be looking to buy some aftermarket wheels that will help me go as fast as possible and I am talking about the Carbon G.T.

What top speeds do you achieve with your board?

My Bamboo GT is stupid fast with the 97s, especially in Fast & GT modes! The fastest speed I saw was 24 mph & it was still accelerating.... (flat ground, no wind)
I really suggest a helmet for sure & body armor for speed runs, lol

Ok thank you. So the ABEC11 97mm are the best ? Or does it depend on my weight ?

When I ordered my Bamboo GT 2 n 1 there was an option on which street wheels, so I chose the 97mm because according to the speed chart they have the highest top speed with the GT pulley. GT mode is stupid fast.

I would say the 97 are the best street wheels, unless you wanna slide then the blacks are quite good!! AT wheels are another level tho, grass surfing is amazing!!

If you get them i'd be glad to test them as I'm thinking in buying them, I'm in Paris with the 2in1 if you want to ride around or test the board before receiving it message me!

Also If you're 50kgs you'll get some serious range and torque hehe.

Ho... didn't have that option so I got the 83, they're great and the torque is insane but yeah, crappy and paved Paris roads can be harsh sometimes.

I roll with Bones Swiss Ceramics coupled with Abecs and noticed a definite increase in speed.
You can also find a larger pulley on ebay...however what you put on top speed you take off from acceleration.

It's good to know that you'll get the acceleration back by going up one mode (if you were already in GT you're out of luck) but it's gonna drain the battery a lot faster. Nothings comes free !

you can order your board with the 97mm as an option instead of the 83mm
