Was gifted an evolve Carbon GT and it cleaned up really well. Was all working fine but batteries were failing and could only ride for a km or so on level ground (slowly), not up the slightest of hills and only at Eco mode, battery still ran down fast. Decided to upgrade battery on my evolve board.
samsung 18650 30q (15-20a)

After build I quickly did a test fit and it looked good, then I shrink wrap the lot. More testing and then charged up to 42V road test as fallows on GT mode :
1mile
1mile
3.3miles
2.2miles
2.5miles
3.5miles
Total GT mode = 13.5
Maybe in one continues burst it would of been less.

Also original pack only did 5-6 miles tops !

I’m having a battery sag after like 4 miles, I’m thinking of taking...
I was going along 20mph/h uphill in GT mode, no problem.... The board must have auto changed down to ECO, when I got near the top, and shifted down 2 times. Thinking I would now go into ECO, but in reality that caused the board to go into reverse, because it self had shifted to ECO already.
I recently purchased a Carbon GT board. It doesn't seem to work right. It cuts out and turns off power to the board when you try to accelerate hard, either kicks into safe mode or trips power switch to off. I've checked a lot of the connections, and all are ok. It appears that one of the Battery cells is bad, causing the issue, I believe. Looks like Cell 6 is the issue.? See picture attached.
after years of use I decided to upgrade the the motors of my GT (AT wheels, riding offroad only).
I am NOT looking for higher torque or more top speed. Since I'll have to replace the motors sooner or later and the original ones are quite expensive, I am just looking for some affordable "plug'n'play" replacement motors that
